Hey, hey, hey Cougars!

Hope Winter Break was a blast for you guys and your families. The CRHS Newspaper sure missed sharing entertaining articles with you guys!. I don’t know about you, but my winter break consisted in travelling and watching movies, from old ones to the latest, so why not share some of this and let you into a world that can distract you from all your problems? Lets get to it.

The first movie id recommend is “Priscilla” which shows us the life story of the one and only, Priscilla Presley, and how she met and later on married the “King of Rock”, Elvis Presley, and, this movie is based on Priscilla’s 1985 memoir “Elvis and me”. The movie has been a trend ever since it was launched in 2023, and it also shows us a new side of Elvis, and his true personality behind closed doors.

The second movie is based on real events. Its called “Society of the Snow”. It tells us the story of an Uruguayan Rugby team that managed to survive for months in the Andes Mountains after their plane crashed back in 1972. The story of the survivors send chills to your spine, and watching what they went through in the big screen even more. It’s worth the watch, after all, it truly was a miracle that some of them made it out alive.

And last but not least, the entire saga of Fear Street. Its based on a book series and reached the tv screens ack in 2021. It consists of 2 towns, Sunnyside, where the rich live, and Shadyside, where the not so lucky live. Between this tone rivalry, a group of things get unwillingly involved into the dark secrets of the town after one of the main girls gets possessed by an ancient witch, and as this happens, all killers in the history of the Shadyside town are after them.
