Varsity VB starts strong in early season tournament

Squad goes undefeated in pool play Thursday and Friday to advance to tournament semi finals.

The Cougars controlled the net in the Division 3 match against Tomball Memorial Thursday. Strong frontline play helped Cinco advance to the Gold bracket semi-final round Saturday at Katy High School in the KISD-Cy-Fair Tournament.

The Cougar varsity volleyball squad starts strong in the 2018 season with a pool sweep of Klein Forest, Magnolia and Tomball Memorial in the KISD/Cy-Fair Tournament. Cinco Ranch returns a young varsity squad with only two seniors on the roster.

Cinco Ranch Varsity Volleyball cruised in Friday’s three pool play matches of the Katy ISD/Cy-Fair tournament. With wins over Magnolia and Klein Forest in the division 3 pool, the Lady Cougs controlled the net to move past a talented Magnolia Tomball squad and advance to the semi-final match. Cinco opened the tournament bracket play with three wins on Thursday and now advance to the Gold bracket round Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Katy High School.
