KISD students injured in bus crash
December 10, 2015
As a bus leaving Miller Career Center was taking students home, a suspected texting driver ran into the back of the vehicle. The worst injuries were not life-threatening, and those cases were taken to a nearby hospital.
The crash site was reported on Wednesday afternoon at Kingsland and Cobia. Students were asked to wait at the site until another bus arrived to take them home.
“We were kind of freaked out, and we had to stay in the bus for about 20-30 minutes until the police let us leave,” senior Sally Lent said.

A driver texting&driving??? Looks like all the school’s PSAs have been targeting the wrong demographic. They should be focusing on their own drivers, That’s dangerous on Katy’s streets and for students
