Sloppy weather contributed to nine combined turnovers Saturday as the varsity football squad maintained an unblemished record en route to a 24-14 win over district rival Seven Lakes during the “White Out” theme at Rhodes Stadium.

The Cougar offense rolled up 406 total yards, but penalties and fumbles cost the team some scoring chances. Senior QB Russell Morrison threw for 218 yards and two scores then added another TD on the ground. Senior Austin Frailey paced the ground game with 90 yards on 16 carries.

Next up, The Cougars face Strake Jesuit in the second of three consecutive Saturday day games. Kick set for 11 a.m. Nov. 2 at Rhodes Stadium.
