The Texas University Interscholastic League (UIL) released new school reclassification and realignments for the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 school years February 3. Schools are split into different divisions, 1A to 6A, based on student population. Paetow remained a 5A school, and Jordan became a new 5A school, classifying between 1,230 students to 2,219 students enrolled. All other KatyISD high schools remained in the 6A classification, classifying as 2,200 students or more enrolled.
