Environmental club to host recycled art show
February 18, 2014
The Environmental Club will be hosting a recycled art gallery in the main commons on Friday, Feb. 21 at 6 pm, as a means of spreading awareness about environmental issues and contributing to the local art scene.
Proceeds will benefit endangered species and other environmental efforts.
“Art will be put on display that is made out of recycled materials,” Senior and gallery coordinator Brinda Penmetsa said.
Students are encouraged to get involved with the project.
“You can get involved by attending or donating money,” Penmetsa said. “The Environmental Club is accepting donations. Please contact Mrs. Peffley in room 1207 for more information.”
