Social media clause added to “A” directory

Joanne Chavali, News editor

At the beginning of this spring semester, a social media inclusion clause was added to the A directory information code. Parents and students can choose whether or not to allow their public information to be released or seen in social media affiliated with the school. The forms are due Friday, January 15, and if they are not turned in to the student’s 2.5 teacher or the registrar by that time, they will be automatically denied for consent for inclusion in social media.

Social media inclusion will help provide immediate information to students and parents about important upcoming events, or they can be used to reward student work.
