Soccer advances to Regional quarterfinal matches

Both the boys and girls varsity soccer teams will advance to Regional quarterfinals after each team won their Area matches on Thursday, April 6. The boys will play Houston Math Science & Tech tomorrow at Delmar Stadium at 7 p.m., and the girls match against Katy is to be announced.
We strive ourselves in our program to play hard, play smart, play together but to have fun because the players on our team are playing a game that they love, Coach King said.

The girls’ cross country team walked away in fifth place at state November 8, with the boys’ team placing twelfth, after successful district and region meets.
Cinco Ranch defensive line rushes to contain a potent Katy offense.  The Tigers turned early Cougar miscues into a lopsided win 51-0. Both squads now advance to the playoffs with Cinco facing Bellaire in the first round of 6A Division 1 action while Katy will face Westside in Division 2.
