The volleyball season came to a close on Tuesday, Nov. 1 after a 0-3 loss against Ridge Point High School during their first round of bi-district playoffs.

The set scores were 23-25, 16-25, and 18-25. The girls ended the season with a 7-5 win-lose record in district play.

It was a bittersweet moment for all of the senior team members as it was their last high school volleyball game they would ever play. While a few will go on to pursue volleyball in college, for Jessica Moore and many others on the team, it was their last time stepping off of a volleyball court.

“Once my final game ended, it didn’t hit me yet that I’ll never play a game of volleyball again,” Moore said. “I am thankful to all of my coaches and teammates for letting my last volleyball season be a great one.”
