Panorama yearbook and County Line news media students traveled to journalism camps this summer to practice and enhance their writing, photography, and design skills. Yearbook editorsĀ attended the Balfour Publications Camp at Texas A&M in College Station July 18-21 while County Line editors traveled to Frisco, TX near Dallas Aug. 3-5 to attend the workshop co-sponsored by School Newspapers Online (SNO) and the Texas Journalism Educators Association (TAJE).

Both camps offered hands-on workshop training in writing, design, photography and multimedia editing. Student Publications editors from both staffs will work collaboratively with each other as well as Global Vine staff to enhance the student media coverage of school events, activities, groups, clubs and student organizations during the school year.

County Line and Panorama student publications editors attended summer journalism camps in College Station and Frisco, TX during July and August to increase training and skills.
